CHIME TCM Clinic
CHIME TCM Clinic is right at the corner of the HDB Block!

I visited at a time where the clinic was just newly opened! There were flowers along the corridor congratulating Physician Lee on the opening of the clinic.

Physician Lee Wen Jing Sean is an experienced and patient physician whom I trust and support! My husband and I went to him to improve on fertility health and received great support and we managed to have two awesome boys now!

The clinic has a cosy interior, though small in size, but it makes patients feel really comfortable! It's recommended to first make an appointment prior to your visit at this number +65 8332 7913.

Insadong (Seoul, Korea)

Insadong is really a nice place to walk around in Korea! There are many places here which provide rental services for hanboks (traditional Korean costumes). Thus, it is a common scene to see tourists (and locals!) walking around in hanboks and taking pictures of the scenic place! Some restaurants and even places of interest even offer exclusive discounts to people who are dressed in the traditional costumes!

Whisk and Paddle (Bukit Gombak)

Love the ambience of the cafe. The fact that it is situated right at the carpark of Bukit Gombak Nature Park makes it easily accessible to those who drive. It is also near a bus stop which is only 2 minutes walk away.

Duck & Lychee Pizza $17.80
The mango salsa gives the pizza a refreshing taste. This is definitely highly recommended!

Fish & Chips $25.80
This is really the best fish and chips I have had. Really. Much better than the one I had in Frementle, Perth. The snapper used was so fresh and juicy, the batter was thin and the chips were just great!

Lychee Mint Cooler $6.90
The mint taste is too strong for me.

Mocha $5.50
Hard to go wrong with Mocha, but this is still good as I really hate those which I have to add my own sugar.

Love the food and the environment of the cafe in general, will definitely re-visit the place!

Gyeongbokgung (Seoul, Korea)

Gyeongbokgung is very accessible via subway or buses! You can alight at either the Gwanghwamun station (Exit ) or Gyeongbokgung station (Exit ).

Similar to other palaces, free guides are available. Do check the official website for the timing of the tours so as to plan your visit. Admission ticket to the paace costs 3000 won. You can consider getting the combined ticket package at 10000 if you are planning to visit other palaces and the Jongmyo Shrine.

It is the biggest palace in Seoul and it is preetty magnificent! When I visited in Dec 2014, a new museum within the palace has been established. The museum was free for admittance (at that point in time) and it exhibits many written works of Korean scholars and allows a greater insight into Korea history and the people's way of living.

Exit through the North gate of the palace and you'll find yourself facing a blue house! It houses the South Korea president and there are also municipal buildings nearby.

I particulary found this amazing as it shwoed how the Korean characters derive from Chinese characters.

Lickers Cafe (Hougang)

Address: Blk #01-1446, 124 Hougang Avenue 1, Block 124, 530124

This small ice cream cafe (they have pretty good tea here too) is pretty inacessible and well hidden under a HDB block, but their ice cream is really one of the best that I have tried! My favorite? Rum and Raisin! The flavor is so rich and the raisins are simply juicy, well filled with rum too! Oh, and the prices are very reasonable! Thumbs up for this cafe!

Rum & Raisins is the best flavour!

Relish Cafe (Botanic Gardens)

Address: #02-01 Cluny Court. Singapore 259750
Directions: Botanic Gardens Circle Line Exit A, left left and cross the road. Enter Cluny Court, you will see Cold Storage, get onto to the escalator on the right, turn a round and tada~ Relish cafe!
The cafe has got a pretty good ambience, not crowded at all on a weekday night. Good place for dates! :)

Dark Chocolate Lava Gateau ($~14)
So yummy!! Portion is small but VERY satisfying!

Pork Belly Burger (~$22)
Fries are great, soft on the inside, crispy on the outside! Burger tastes good, the combination of the meat and salad goes well together. Just that the meat, as it is pork belly, is more on the oily side.

True Love Cafe - Huskies Cafe (Bangkok, Thailand)

The True Love Cafe at Bangkok is really difficult to locate!

All visitors have to pay an admission fee of around 350 baht, which comes with a drink and a piece of cake. Visitors are free to pet the huskies at the petting area, there were more than 20 dogs and they were all living in good conditions! :)

Cheung Chau Island (Hong Kong)

Going to Cheung Chau from Hong Kong ferry pier was very easy! The ferry ride can be paid using the Octopus card and costs about 20HKD. The ferry to Cheung Chau is at pier number 5, it is located behind the IFC building, towards the left when facing the piers.

Cheung Chau is definitely a great island to visit with a clean nice beach (albeit a little small), and many good food!

The ferry timing is pretty frequent! It takes only 30-45 minutes to get there!

The view from the ferry, on the way to Cheung Chau.

Cheung Chau was full of fishing boats! There were also a few temples on the island. If you can cycle, it'll be great to cycle on the island while sightseeing!

The 'ping an' bun is actually the island's 'mascot' and its merchandise can be found everywhere!

These mini egg tarts are yummy, and they are served fresh!

The famous snacks were the 'fish eggs' (魚蛋) Actually they are just like fish balls, but there are many flavors of toppings to choose from!

This is definitely the stall to get your fish eggs from! Try the cheese ones, they are super yummy! The stall is located at the cross junction near the beach!

I was lucky to find a really yummy dessert stall! It serves really nice mango milk pudding!

There are several handicraft stores in Cheung Chau too, do check them out for interesting handicraft, but they are not cheap!
